On-Site Services including removal and refilling of filter media. We can assist in the safe disposal of spent media. Our support service is available to assist you with any specific requirements.
Over time filter media effectiveness decreases as does runtime and this results in slow water treatment. We offer filter media installation and removal services in municipal and industrial water treatment applications. Other conventional and specialty filter media products include silica, anthracite, sand, quartz, walnut shell, GFH and more.
Granular media filters lose media via backwash. Filter media also breaks down over time, finer particles migrate to top during backwash • Replacing lost or excessively broken-down media is vial for optimized water treatment.
Our filter media products are produced from the highest quality anthracite, sand and gravel available. High performance filter media improves service flows and longer filter runs. Media is available to be drop-shipped worldwide direct from our source or we can arrange mixed media loads to be hand-delivered to your plant in any quantity needed.

Municipal and Industrial water treatment equipment is much larger and more complex than residential and/or small commercial water systems.
Megalodon Consulting Group offers rehabilitation of filters in an effort to prevent a major breakdown from occurring that could have detrimental effects on the plant and environment. This could include updates such as replacing exhausted filter media, filter services ex. sandblasting, fabrication, interior/exterior wall coating, electronics, updating plumbing, meters, etc.
Rehabbing the filters prior to a major breakdown occurring can save municipalities/companies thousands of dollars compared to replacing equipment.
In the event a rehab is not feasible, we also offer full replacement and/or custom fabricated filter systems. Our first goal is to save you money by rehabbing a filter if possible.
